When you sign in to Rippily, you land on your dashboard. It has five tabs across the top:

Discovery Browse and join communities across Rippily
Activity Your weekly stats and achievements
Friends Messages, online friends, and friend requests
Studio Manage your Waves and Ripples (creator workspace)

Streak Badge

In the top-right corner of the dashboard you'll see a flame icon with your current streak count. Your streak tracks consecutive days you've joined any Ripple — visit at least one live session each day and the number climbs.

The flame changes colour as your streak grows:

Streak length Flame tier
0 days Grey (inactive)
1–6 days Amber
7–29 days Orange
30–99 days Deep orange
100+ days Red-pink

When your streak is at zero, the badge reads Light your flame. Once active, it shows your streak count and the label day streak. A green tick appears when you've already visited a Ripple today, confirming your streak is safe.

Hover over the badge for a reminder: "Join a ripple each day to keep your streak" (or "Join any ripple to start your streak" when inactive).

At key milestones the label changes briefly — 1 week! at 7 days, 1 month! at 30 days, and day streak! at every 100-day mark (100, 200, 300 ...). Clicking the badge on a milestone day replays the celebration animation.

The Home Tab

The Home tab is your personalised starting point. It has two columns:

Starred Items (left column)

The Starred section shows Waves and Ripples you've starred for quick access. Items are organised into two groups:

  • Ripples — your starred Ripples, shown as compact cards with a thumbnail and the Wave they belong to
  • Waves — your starred Waves, shown as compact cards with a cover image and member count

You can drag and drop cards within each group to reorder them however you like.

If you haven't starred anything yet, you'll see a prompt to get started with a link to the Discovery tab.

Sidebar widgets (right column)

The right column has two widgets:

  • Recently Visited — Ripples you've been in recently, with a thumbnail, Wave name, and how long ago you visited (e.g. "3h ago", "Yesterday"). Handy for jumping back into a session you were just in.
  • Communities You Joined — all the Waves you're a member of, with a star toggle on each so you can quickly pin them to your Starred section. You can drag and drop communities to reorder them using the grip handle that appears on hover.

Starring Items

You can star Waves and Ripples from several places:

  • Discovery tab — click the star icon on any Wave card
  • Wave page — click the star in the Wave header, or on individual Ripple cards listed on the page
  • Inside a Ripple — click the star in the top bar while you're in a session
  • Studio tab — click the star on any of your Wave cards
  • Home tab — click the star on a Communities You Joined card, or click a filled star on any card to unstar it

When you star or unstar something, a brief confirmation appears at the bottom of the screen (e.g. "Starred Weekly Workshop" or "Unstarred Book Club").

The Activity Tab

The Activity tab tracks your participation over the last 7 days.

Your Activity

A stats card showing five metrics:

Stat What it measures
Day Streak Consecutive days you've been active
Hours Live Total hours spent in live Ripples
Communities Number of Waves you've joined
Hosts Attended Number of different creators you've visited
Messages Messages sent in chat

Below the stats, you may see highlights like Most Visited (the Wave you've been to the most) and Explorer (how many different Waves you visited this week).

Achievements

Below the stats you'll find a row of badges. Some reward your streak, others mark firsts and milestones you reach along the way. Locked badges show a padlock icon — keep showing up and they'll light up when you least expect it. Click any unlocked badge to view it full-screen.

Changelog

The site footer includes a Changelog link (also available at /changelog). The changelog lists new features, improvements, and fixes grouped by date. Use the search bar to find entries by keyword, or browse by month using the sidebar on the right.
