Overview

Wave Analytics gives you a bird's-eye view of activity across your community. Access it from your Wave page → Analytics tab.

Only Account Holders and Administrators can view analytics.

Health Score

At the top of the analytics page, you'll see a health score from 0 to 100. This is a composite metric that reflects overall community engagement, taking into account participation frequency, session duration, and member activity.

The score is colour-coded with a label:

  • Green — "Thriving" (75 and above)
  • Purple — "Growing" (50–74)
  • Amber — "Building" (25–49)
  • Red — "Struggling" (below 25)

Overview Stats

The dashboard shows four key metrics for your selected date range:

  • Total Sessions — number of sessions across all Ripples
  • Participants — unique people who joined Ripples
  • Avg Duration — average session length
  • Engagement — overall engagement score (0–100%)

Date Range Filtering

Use the date range picker to focus on a specific period. You can select preset ranges or choose custom start and end dates. All stats and breakdowns update to reflect the selected period.

Ripple Breakdown

See how each Ripple in your Wave is performing:

  • Participant count per Ripple
  • Session count and duration
  • Engagement metrics

This helps you identify which Ripples are most active and which might need more attention or promotion.

Member Analytics

View participation data at the member level — who's most active, how often they join, and their engagement patterns. Access detailed member analytics via the View Members link on the analytics page.

CSV Export

Export your analytics data as a CSV file for further analysis in a spreadsheet or reporting tool.

  1. Select your desired date range
  2. Click Export CSV
  3. The download includes session data, participant metrics, and engagement scores

This is useful for creating reports, sharing data with stakeholders, or importing into other analytics tools.
